We specialize in operating heavy equipment for wildland fires and transportation of heavy equipment. 2017/2018 Fire Season
Walsenburg Fire, Walsenburg, CO
Kremmling Fire, Kremmling, CO
Tamarak Fire, Libby, MT, Seeley Lake Fire, Seeley Lake, MT
Masticating thick brush to minimize fire fuels. Tasks that we perform on every job and fire is maintenance of our equipment to ensure proper run ability, professionalism, report for briefing morning and night. We are required to have an RT-130 and wear all appropriate fire gear. 2018:Â We operated a D6M High Track Bulldozer with a 6 way blade to create fuel breaks, clear roads, and conduct road improvements.
2020Â Fire Season
Williams Fork Fire, Granby, CO
Pine Gulch Fire, Grand Junction, CO
August Complex Fire, Hayfork, CA
Williams Fork: We used the excavator to pile brush creating a fuel break.
Pine Gulch: We used the excavator to rehabilitate the fire line after the fire had passed through.
August Complex: We used the bulldozer to make road improvements and fuel breaks.
2021Â Fire Season
Mullen Fire, Laramie, WY
Cameron Peak Fire, Fort Collins, CO
Dixie Fire, Elk City, ID
McCash Fire, Crescent City, CA
KNP Complex, Woodlake, CA
We performed rehabilitation with the excavator on the Mullen and Cameron Peak Fires.
Dixie Fire: We used the D6M High Track Bulldozer to put in fire lines right up against the flames to stop the fire from reaching the wilderness.
We used the masticator on the McCash and KNP Complex Fires to reduce fire fuels.
2022/2023Â Fire Season
Calf Canyon Fire, Las Vegas, NM, Bull Gin Fire, Clark Fork, MT, Prospect Fire, Deary, ID, Williams Creek, Oregrande, ID, Midnight Fire, Harpster, ID, Pete's Lake Fire, Bend, OR
On the Calf Canyon Fire we used the D6M Dozer to put in direct fire line to save structures and make it so hotshot crews could fight the fire.
We used the excavator to perform rehabilitation, clean out ditches and creeks, and create rolling dips to help stop water erosion on the Williams Creek Fire, Prospect Fire, and the Midnight Fire.
On the Pete's Lake and Midnight Fire we used the masticator to improve the fire line, take out under brush, and create shaded fuel breaks.
